As some of you may know, at the end of November I’m leaving the comfort of my homeland and heading off on a new adventure. New Zealand has been a fantastic country to live in for the past 24 years of my life, but now it’s time to see what the rest of the world has to offer, for me and my music.
First stop will be Melbourne.
The support I have had within the NZ music industry has been great, but I’m at the point where I have to jump and give it everything I’ve got. Personally and creatively I feel Melbourne is the best fit for me right now, but who knows where I’ll end up. I’m ready to go wherever the best opportunities, musically, are for me.
I do intend on coming back to NZ for a tour next year, but there are no confirmed dates yet.
Recently I got given a bag with a quote from the American Author, Henry David Thoreau.
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.
This is what I am aiming for and this is what I’m currently holding on to. Life is too short to be comfortable. Take risks, in life and love, and aim to accomplish things that make your heart race and your mind flourish.
I’m excited to share this new music and this new step with you all.
